Scuderia Sunroof was formed at the start of the 2002 season to run driver Ian Crombie's 1990 Mallock Mk28B in the MG XPower Clubmans Cup. 2002 brought reward in the form of the 'Rookie of the Year' Trophy and was followed up in 2003 by the Non-Testers Cup.

The Scuderia Sunroof team mixes experience from a number of fields including Clubmans, Special GT, endurance kart, Sports 2000 and National Hunt racing.
